BAKTRIA, Greco-Baktrian Kingdom. Eukratides II, circa 145-140 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30 mm, 16.87 g, 12 h), Baktra. Diademed and draped bust of Eukratides II to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ ΕΥΚΡΑ[ΤΙΔΟΥ] Apollo standing front, head to left, holding arrow in his right hand and bow set on ground in his left; to left, monogram. Bopearachchi 3B. HGC 12, 162. A fine example with an attractive portrait. Edge crack and with a small flan fault on the edge, otherwise, good very fine.
