MZDYSN BGY WRHR'N MRKAN MRKA 'YR'N W 'NYR'N MNW CTRY MN YZD'N ('Worshipper of Lord Mazda, 'God' Bahram, King of Kings of Iran and Non-Iran who has lineage from the Gods' in somewhat blundered Pahlawi) Jugate draped busts of Bahram II, wearing winged crown with korymbos, and his queen, wearing kolah with horse's head, to right, facing draped bust of Prince 4 to left, wearing kolah with boar's head. Rev. NWRA WRHR'N ('Fire of Bahram' in somewhat blundered Pahlawi) Fire altar, flanked by Bahram II, on the left, standing right, raising his right hand, and by his queen, on the right, standing left, holding diadem in her right hand; in upper left field, symbol of the heir. SNS II, type VII. Very rare with legend in two lines on the obverse below the bust. Minor edge chipping and somewhat wavy, otherwise, about very fine.
