Taler 1650 (Silver, 42 mm, 28.82 g, 12 h) PARIS D G ARCHIEPS SALISB AP L; inner legend: SVB TVVM PRAESIDIVM CONFVG Nimbate and crowned half-length bust of Mary, holding scepter in her right hand and the infant Christ in her left arm; coat of arms below. Rev. SANCT RVDBERTVS EPS SALISB 1650 Half-length bust of St Rupert facing, holding salt cellar and crosier; arms below. Davenport 3504. Probszt 1229. Zöttl 1501. Beautifully toned. Extremely fine.
