Rev. S MARIA MATER DEI PATRONA HUNG 1767 (Burgundian cross) Crowned Madonna sitting on crescent in a glory of rays, the infant Christ in her left arm, scepter in her right hand, EV-M and mintmark (K) below. Davenport 1133. Eyp. 304. Herinek 594. Huszár 1678. Lightly toned and attractive. Extremely fine.

From the collection of Dr. Max Blaschegg (1930-2021, with collector’s ticket) and that of his father, Dr. Karl Blaschegg (1892-1951).
