Tiberius III (Apsimar), 698-705. Solidus (Gold, 18 mm, 4.47 g, 7 h), Constantinopolis. D TIbЄRIЧS PЄ AV Draped and cuirassed bust of Tiberius III facing, wearing crown surmounted by a small cross, holding spear in his right hand and and with a shield, decorated with a horseman, over his left shoulder. Rev. VICTORIV AVSЧ Θ / CONOB Cross potent on three steps. DOC 1h. MIB 1. SB 1360. A lovely example, well struck and unusually complete. Good extremely fine.
