GERMANY. Nürnberg (Stadt). Karl VI, 1711-1740. Dukat 1712 (Gold, 23 mm, 3.51 g, 12 h), homage of the city to the emperor. CAROL VI ROM IMP SEMP AVG Cuirassed and crowned bust of Karl VI to right, GFN below. Rev. PIA OPTIMO PRINCIPI VOTA DICIT (chronogram) Burning altar with the three town shields, S•P•Q•N• below. Friedberg 1900. Kellner 76. Slg. Erl. 673. Rare. Small scratch, otherwise, extremely fine.
