Divus Romulus, died 309. Follis (Silvered bronze, 24 mm, 5.91 g, 5 h), Ostia, beginning of 310-end of 312. IMP MAXENTIVS DIVO ROMVLO N V FILIO Bare head of Divus Romulus to right. Rev. AETERNA MEMORIA / MOSTS Doomed shrine with open door surmounted by eagle standing front, wings spread and head to left, holding wreath in beak. Drost 76. RIC 33. A beautiful, well struck and unusually complete piece. Light deposits, otherwise, about extremely fine.
