Trajan Decius, 249-251. Antoninianus (Silver, 22 mm, 3.80 g, 1 h), Rome, 249. IMP TRAIANVS DECIVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Trajan Decius to right, seen from behind. Rev. VIRTVS AVG Virtus seated left on cuirass, holding branch in her right hand and long scepter in her left. Cohen 123. RIC 8. A rare early issue with an excellent portrait. The reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, virtually as struck.
