Domitian, as Caesar, 69-81. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 3.46 g, 6 h), Rome, 76-77. CAESAR AVG F DOMITIANVS Laureate head of Domitian to right. Rev. COS IIII Pegasus walking right, raising left foreleg. BMC 193. Cohen 47. RIC 921. A lustrous example with a charming reverse. The obverse struck from a worn die and with minor weakness, otherwise, extremely fine.
