Heraclius, 610-641. Follis (Bronze, 32 mm, 15.80 g, 6 h), mint in Sicily. Crowned, draped and bearded bust of Heraclius facing, on the left; Heraclian monogram, on the right; all within incuse punch. Rev. SCLS within incuse punch. DOC 241. MIB pl. 18. SB 882. Minor deposits, otherwise, very fine.

This interesting example was overstruck on a follis of Justin I from Constantinopolis (SB 63).
