Description

Diocletian, 284-305. Follis (Bronze, 27 mm, 10.00 g, 5 h), Carthage, circa 298. IMP DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG Laureate head of Constantius I to right. Rev. FELIX ADVENT AVGG NN / H / PKP Africa standing front, head to left, holding vexillum in her right hand and elephant tusk in her left; at feet to left, forepart of a lion to left, head to right, on a captured bull. RIC 25a. Repatinated and slightly rough, otherwise, about extremely fine.
