CILICIA. Tarsus. Hadrian, 117-138. Tridrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 9.39 g, 1 h). [ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΘΕ Τ]ΡA ΠΑΡ ΥΙ ΘΕ ΝΕΡ ΥΙ ΤΡΑI ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ϹEB Laureate head of Hadrian to right. Rev. TΑΡϹΕΩΝ ΜΗΤΡΟΠΟΛΕΩϹ City-goddess, turreted and veiled, seated left, holding palm in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left; at feet to left, river-god Kydnos, crowned with wreath of sedge, swimming left. Prieur 761. RPC III 3262. Some marks, otherwise, good very fine.
