KINGS OF PERSIS. Uncertain king, 2nd century BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 4.00 g, 11 h), Istakhr (Persepolis). Bearded male head to right, wearing diadem and kyrbasia topped by an eagle with spread wings and a crescent; in field to right, rosette. Rev. Fire-altar of Ahura-Mazda; above, half-figure of Ahura-Mazda; to left, King standing right, his hands raised in adoration; to right, eagle standing left on standard. Alram -. Klose & Müseler 3/9.
