★ Beautifully toned and very attractive ★

PHOENICIA. Sidon. temp. Ba`alšillem (Sakton) I-Ba’ana, Circa 425-401 BC. 1/16 Shekel (Silver, 8 mm, 0.88 g, 1 h). Galley left before city wall with three towers; [below, lion recumbent left]. Rev. The Persian Great King standing right, drawing bow; to left, incuse head of Bes; to right, incuse head of goat. E&E-S Group III.3.a. Betlyon 10. HGC 10, 230. Beautifully toned and very attractive. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
