ISLANDS OFF TROAS, Tenedos. Circa 450-387 BC. Obol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.56 g, 12 h). Janiform head of Hera on the left and Zeus on the right. Rev. Τ-Ε Double axe within linear square within incuse square. HGC 6, 387. SNG Copenhagen 509. SNG München 340. SNG von Aulock 1587. A nicely toned example. Somewhat rough and with some marks, otherwise, good very fine.
