MYSIA. Pergamon. Circa 166-67 BC. Cistophorus (Silver, 28 mm, 12.58 g, 12 h), circa 123-104. Cista mystica from which snake coils; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; to left, monogram of ΠΕΡΓ; above; ME; to right, serpent-entwined staff. Kleiner, Hoard 18. Pinder -. SNG Paris -. Nicely toned. Minor marks, otherwise, very fine.
