CARTHAGE. Second Punic War. Circa 220-215 BC. Trishekel (Bronze, 32 mm, 17.51 g, 12 h). Head of Tanit to left, wearing wreath of grain ears, pendant earring and simple necklace. Rev. Horse standing right before palm tree; to right, 𐤁 ('b' in Punic). MAA 84b. SNG Copenhagen 340. An unusually sharp and attractive piece. Flan faults and light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
