SICILY. Akragas. Circa 440-430 BC. Cast hexas or dionkion (Bronze, 16x13 mm, 5.95 g). Eagle with closed wings. Rev. ΑΚ Crab. Two pellets (mark of value) on base. CNS I, 7. HGC 2, 128. Westermark 527. A nicely patinated example with unusually clear designs. Very fine.
