MESOPOTAMIA. Edessa. Septimius Severus, with Abgar VIII , 193-211. Diassarion (Bronze, 23 mm, 7.89 g, 7 h). ATOKPA CЄPΛHPOC (sic!) Laureate head of Septimius Severus to right. Rev. ABΓΑΡΟC B-ACIΛЄ Diademed and draped bust of Abgar right, wearing tiara decorated with crescent and stars. BMC 14-26. Patina stripped , otherwise, very fine.
