ISLANDS OFF CARIA, Kalymnos. Circa 260/50-205 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 20 mm, 6.16 g, 12 h). Male head to right, wearing crested Attic helmet. Rev. ΚΑΛΥΜΝΙΟΝ Kithara; all within pelleted square. HGC 6, 1283. Höghammar Type 1, dies 1/1. SNG Copenhagen 602. SNG München 489. SNG von Aulock 2741. Nicely toned. Some horn silver and with light cleaning scratches, otherwise, very fine.
