CIMMERIAN BOSPOROS. Pantikapaion. Circa 438/7-430 BC. Hemiobol (Silver, 7.5 mm, 0.27 g, 6 h). Facing head of a lion. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square with Π-A and stellate design in quarters. Frolova Type IX. HGC 7, 46. MacDonald 12/3 var. (incuse). SNG BM Black Sea -. SNG Stancomb -. Very rare. The obverse struck slightly off center and with minor deposits, otherwise, about very fine.
