ATTICA. Athens. Circa 510-500/490 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 17.37 g, 5 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with small spiral on the bowl and round earring. Rev. AΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig; all within incuse square. Asyut 261-265. Seltman Group L. Svoronos pl. 6, 8-13. Fresh and of lovely Archaic style. Flan fault on the obverse and with a test cut on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
