ISLANDS OFF THRACE, Thasos. Circa 412-404 BC. Diobol (Silver, 14 mm, 1.51 g, 6 h). Janiform satyr head. Rev. Θ-Α-Σ-Ι Two amphorae, one upright, the other inverted. HGC 6, 348. Le Rider, Thasiennes, 25. SNG Copenhagen 1027. Beautifully toned and very attractive. Somewhat granular, otherwise, about extremely fine.
