ISLAMIC, Umayyad Caliphate. temp. Mu'awiya I ibn Abi Sufyan, AH 41-60 / AD 661-680. Fals (Bronze, 20 mm, 4.00 g, 7 h), Arab-Byzantine type, Tabariya (Tiberias). Three imperial figures standing facing, each wearing crown surmounted by cross and holding globus cruciger. Rev. Large M in center; above, monogram; below, officina symbol; around, blundered THBEPIAΔOC; in field to right, 'tabariya' in Kufic. DOCAB 81. Goodwin&Gyselen p. 226, 30. SICA I, 587.
