CILICIA. Ninica-Claudiopolis. Maximinus I, with Maximus Caesar, 235/6-238. 'Sestertius' (Orichalcum, 31 mm, 15.09 g, 7 h). IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVΓ (sic!) Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Maximinus I to right, seen from behind. Rev. C IVL VЄΠ MAXIMVΓ (sic!) C NIN CLVA (?) Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Maximus to right. RPC VI online 9607 var. (differing reverse legend). SNG Levante 629 var. (differing reverse legend). SNG Paris 796-797 var. (differing reverse legend). Cleaning scratches on the obverse, otherwise, nearly very fine.
