★ A beautiful drachm of Augustus from the Lycian League ★
LYCIAN LEAGUE. Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 3.00 g, 11 h), Masikytes, circa 27-20 BC. Λ-Y Bare head of Augustus to right. Rev. MA Two kitharas with grain ear between. RPC I 3309c. Troxell, Lycian, 122.2-5. A beautiful piece with a fine portrait. Small flan crack and with some flan faults, otherwise, extremely fine.
