★ By far the finest of apparently only three known examples ★

PHRYGIA. Themisonium. Maximus, Caesar, 235/6-238. Tetrassarion (Bronze, 30 mm, 13.08 g, 6 h). Γ•ΙΟΥ•ΟΥΗΡ•ΜΑΖΙΜΟϹ KAI Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Maximus to right. Rev. ΘΗΜΙϹΩΝЄΩΝ Tyche standing front, head to left, holding rudder in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. BMC 11. RPC VI online 5537 corr. (obverse legend). Extremely rare, by far the finest of apparently only three known examples. Minor deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
