★ Very rare and with a lovely glossy patina ★

INDIA, Post-Mauryan (Deccan). Satavahanas (Andhras). "Sri Satakanisa", circa 1st-2nd century. AE (Bronze, 17x20 mm, 5.74 g, 12 h), Nashik region of present-day Maharashtra. SRI SATAKANISA (in Brahmi) Lion standing right on platform; above, Swastika. Rev. Large tree in railing; to right, four-orbed Ujjain symbol. Pieper 668. Very rare. A well struck example with a lovely glossy patina. Good very fine.
