BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΣΩTHPOΣ - MENANΔPOY Diademed heroic bust of Menander I to left, seen from behind, wearing aegis over shoulder and brandishing spear. Rev. 'Maharajasa tratarasa Menamdrasa' ('of Great King Menander the Savior' in Kharoshti) Athena Promachos advancing left, holding shield on left arm and brandishing thunderbolt with her right; to right, monogram.
