INDO-SKYTHIANS. Azes, circa 58-12 BC. Tetradrachm (Bronze, 27 mm, 12.11 g, 12 h), Pushkalavati. BAΣIΛEΩΣ BAΣIΛEΩN MEΓAΛOY AZOY Elephant advancing to right. Rev. 'Maharajasa rajadhirajasa mahatasa / Ayasa' ('of Great King, King of Kings, Azes the Great' in Kharoshthi) Zebu bull standing right. HGC 12, 658. Senior 100.10ff. Attractive green patina. Minor cleaning scratches on the obverse. Very fine.
