NORTHWEST GAUL. Aulerci Eburovices. 2nd to early 1st century BC. Half Stater (Gold, 19 mm, 3.16 g, 9 h). Celticized male head with Ƨ-shaped ear to left. Rev. Celticized horse galloping to right, horseman above; before, cross symbol; below, winged figure with bird-like head to right. DT -, cf. 2397 (boar below horse on the reverse). LT -, cf. 7020 (boar below horse on the reverse). Extremely rare. Very fine.
