M•VOLTEI•M•F Tetrastyle temple of Jupiter Capitolinus with closed doors; in pediment, winged thunderbolt. Babelon (Volteia) 1. Crawford 385/1. RBW 1414. Sydenham 774. A beautifully toned example with a finely detailed architectural reverse. Small die break on the obverse and with a tiny mark on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
