Fals (Bronze, 24 mm, 2.47 g, 4 h), citing the governor Khuzayma ibn Khazim and al-Qasim, Dabil (Dvin, the capital of Armenia), AH 189 = AD 804/5. Vardanyan 2011, 257. Very rare. Some deposits and with a minor edge crack, otherwise, very fine.

Khuzayma ibn Khazim was the son of the important military leader Khazim ibn Khuzayma al-Tamimi and a close associate of the Abbasid caliph Harun al-Rashid.
