ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate. temp. Al-Mahdi, AH 158-169 / AD 775-785. Fals (Bronze, 19 mm, 2.43 g, 2 h), citing 'Muhammad' on the obverse and 'Barmak' on the reverse, Tawwaj, without date, struck circa AH 160s-180s. Album 337I. Extremely rare. Minor corrosion, otherwise, very fine.
