ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate. temp. Al-Mahdi, AH 158-169 / AD 775-785. Fals (Bronze, 21 mm, 4.48 g, 11 h), citing the governor Yazid ibn Usayd, Dabil (Dvin, the capital of Armenia), AH 159 = AD 775/6. Vardanyan 2011, 252. A very rare mint. Heavily scratched and with some deposits, otherwise, good fine.
