TAURIC CHERSONESOS. Chersonesos. AE (Bronze, 22 mm, 6.09 g, 6 h), time of Marcus Aurelius, circa 161-180. XEP Draped bust of Chersonas to right, wearing laurel wreath; to right, lyre. Rev. ЄΛЄ-Υ Artemis Parthenos standing facing, head to right, holding bow and arrow in her left hand and hurling javelin with her right; at her feet, stag reclining left, head right. RPC IV.1 online 10513 (1 specimen). SNG Moskau 3975-6. Extremely rare. Minor traces of cleaning, otherwise, about very fine.
