LUCANIA. Metapontion. Circa 470-440 BC. Stater (Silver, 18 mm, 7.87 g, 12 h). [META] Ear of barley with seven grains; around, border of dots. Rev. Ear of barley with six grains, all incuse; rayed border. HN Italy 1484. Noe Class XI. Beautifully toned. Struck from a somewhat worn obverse die, otherwise, about very fine.
