ISLAMIC, Umayyad Caliphate. temp. 'Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan, AH 65-86 / AD 685-705. Fals (Bronze, 21 mm, 3.83 g, 10 h), Tabariya (Tiberias), circa AH 80s = AD 700s. Rev. Bird above 'Muhammad Rasul Allah' ('Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah' in Kufic). Album 188. Rare. Light deposits, otherwise, very fine.
