ΠOY ΛIK KOP OYAΛЄPIANON KAI CЄB• Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Valerian II to right, seen from behind; before, IA (mark of value); below, eagle standing right with spread wings. Rev. KOΛYBPACCЄΩN - ΓYΔ MN /ACIAPXIA (sic!) Three single-handled cups over gymnasiarch’s oil basin between two palm fronds. SNG Copenhagen -. SNG Levante -. SNG Paris 560 ( same dies ). SNG von Aulock -. Very rare and in exceptional condition. Sharply struck on a broad flan and with a very interesting reverse. Minor smoothing on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
