★ A very rare assarion of Caius Caesar from Tralles ★

LYDIA. Tralles. Caius, Caesar, 20 BC-AD 4. Assarion (Bronze, 22 mm, 4.10 g, 1 h), circa 2 BC. ΓΑΙΟΣ ΚΑΙΣΑΡ Bare head of Caius to right. Rev. ΚΑΙΣΑΡΕΩΝ Capricorn to right, head to left and bearing cornucopiae on its back. RPC I 2650. Very rare. The obverse struck somewhat off center and with some areas of weakness, otherwise, nearly very fine.
