TROAS. Alexandria Troas. Pseudo-autonomous issue. 'As' (Bronze, 20 mm, 5.15 g, 8 h), mid 3rd century. ALEXA TRO Turreted and draped bust of the city-goddess to right, with vexillum inscribed CO / AV behind. Rev. COL AV / TRO Horse grazing right. Bellinger A486. A beautiful example with a lovely brown patina. Extremely fine.
