HUNNIC TRIBES, Alchon Huns. Lakhana Udayaditya, circa 475-515. Drachm (Silver, 27 mm, 3.71 g, 3 h). RAJA LAKHANA UDAYADITYA ('Raja Lakhana, Rising Sun' in Brahmi) Bust of Lakhana Udayaditya with elongated skull and moustache to right, wearing earrings, pearl necklace and diadem with crescent at the front and two ribbons. Rev. Traces of fire altar flanked by two attendants. Göbl 79. Pfisterer, Typ 79. Vondrovec, Type 79. Very rare. An attractive example with a bold bust. Very fine.
