IONIA. Uncertain. Circa 650-600 BC. Hekte (Gold, 10 mm, 2.33 g), Lydo-Milesian standard. Plain globular surface. Rev. Two incuse squares. Karwiese, Artemision, Type I.1. SNG Kayhan 674. Weidauer 4. An attractive example of this earliest form of coinage. Good very fine.
