THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 356-342 BC. Drachm (Silver, 20 mm, 6.09 g, 11 h). Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly to left, wearing ampyx, pendant earring and necklace. Rev. ΛΑΡΙΣ-ΑΙΩΝ Horse standing right, preparing to roll over. BCD Thessaly I 1155. BCD Thessaly II 316-8. An attractive piece with a lovely head of the nymph Larissa. Minor scrapes on the obverse and with light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
