MOESIA INFERIOR. Nicopolis ad Istrum . Geta, as Caesar, 198-209. Hemiassarion (Bronze, 17 mm, 4.31 g, 1 h). Λ AYP K ΓETAC Bare head of Geta to right. Rev. [NIKO]ΠOΛI ΠPOC ICT Eros, with crossed legs, resting on inverted torch set on altar. H&J 8.22.16.3 ( same dies ). A charming example with a spectacular green patina. The reverse struck slightly off center , otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
