CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Suessiones . Circa 50-30 BC. Cast unit (Potin, 17 mm, 4.67 g, 7 h), 'Stirnlocken' Type. Celticized head to right, with curly hair. Rev. Boar standing right; to left, circlet with torques; below, torques with pellets at the end and 5 other pellets within. Allen 444-447. D&T 530. Gäumann 151. LT 7905. SLM 293-295. A clear and very well preserved example. Extremely fine.
