P. Furius Crassipes, 84 BC. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 3.87 g, 8 h), Rome. AED•CVR Turreted head of Cybele to right; behind, foot upwards. Rev. Curule chair inscribed P•FOVRIVS; in exergue, CRASSIPES. Babelon (Furia) 20. Crawford 356/1a. RBW 1361. Sydenham 735. Lightly toned. Very fine.

From a Swiss collection, formed in the Ticino from 1970s to 2000s, privately acquired from C. G. Thieme in Dresden (with original collector's flip).
