JUDAEA. Neapolis. Caracalla, 198-217. Tetradrachm (Billon, 27 mm, 11.95 g, 12 h), 215-217. ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟC CЄΒ Laureate head of Caracalla to right. Rev. ΔΗΜΑΡΧ ЄΞ ΥΠΑΤΟC•Δ Eagle with spread wings standing facing, head to left and holding wreath in beak; between the eagle's legs, lit altar. Prieur 1701 var. (differing reverse legend). Very rare. The obverse slightly rough, otherwise, extremely fine.
