LOCAL ISSUES, Silk Road Region. Circa 5th-8th centuries. Bracteate (Gold, 22 mm, 0.88 g, 12 h), imitating an issue of Sri Sahi, a Western Turkish ruler in in Zabulistan, after 650. Draped bust to right, wearing crown surmounted by blossom and necklace with two ribbons attached; to right, pennant; all within two pelleted circles. Rev. Incuse of obverse. Very fine.
