HUNNIC TRIBES, Western Turks. Sri Ranasrikari, circa 650-700. Half Drachm (Bronze, 26 mm, 1.83 g, 10 h), circa 675-700. Bust of Sri Ranasrikari facing, head turned slightly to right, wearing a caftan and a winged crown with a lion's head and two large crescents cointaining pellets, holding pennant in his left hand; in upper field to left, countermark with senmurv; to right, legend in Brahmi. Rev. Fire altar with two attendants. Göbl 256. Vondrovec, Type 256. An interesting type with a lovely countermark of Senmurv. Flan slightly wavy along one edge, otherwise, good fine.
